Dan has over 20 years’ experience as a physiotherapist, working both in New Zealand and overseas. He has worked with many of New Zealand’s leading athletes, including 8 years with Counties-Manukau Rugby, and a long-term association with Auckland Cricket. He joined Unisports 12 years ago and is now Managing Director.

Emma Lattey

Physiotherapist

Bachelor Physiotherapy, Otago / Masters of Sports Physiotherapy, University of Queensland

Emma has nearly 20 years of experience as a physiotherapist, working both in New Zealand and overseas. Emma has worked with a variety sporting teams and elite athletes over the years and completed her masters of sports physio in Australia in 2018. In the clinic Emma loves treating a wide range of sporting and life-related injuries with a special interest in neck concussion rehabilitation and ACL return to play testing. She has also competed three volunteer stints as a physiotherapist in India, Vietnam and most recently Guinea, West Africa in 2019.

Stewart has a wealth of experience having worked both in New Zealand and the UK. Stewart is highly qualified with a Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and a Postgraduate Diploma in Acupuncture. He is also a certified McKenzie Practitioner who specialises in treating spinal conditions and has a special interest in ACL rehabilitation.

Steph Kotua

Steph graduated in 2001 and has extensive experience in Auckland as well as 5 years in London working predominantly in private practice. Steph enjoys dealing with musculoskeletal injuries and the rehabilitation of both acute and chronic problems. She also has an interest in women’s pelvic health, in particular ante and postnatal rehab.

Rebecca Mooney

Rebecca graduated from her undergraduate degree at AUT in 2013. She then continued to complete post-graduate studies in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (PgDipMSK), and since then has worked solely in private practice in Auckland. Rebecca has a passion for all things 'physio' - the acute and severe sporting injuries, spinal injuries/pain, the common but persistent “niggly” issues, and intensive rehabilitation.

Olivia graduated from AUT with a Bachelor of Health Science: Physiotherapy in 2019. Olivia comes from a background of competitive hockey in Auckland as well as recently being involved as a Physiotherapist. Olivia has a passion for sporting injuries as well as degenerative conditions. She has had experience working with competitive sporting teams including AFL, hockey, and rugby. Olivia plans to complete further post graduate studies to further develop her skills as a physiotherapist.

Matt Farrimond

Matt graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University, UK in 2013. Matt has a specialist interest in Musculoskeletal, Orthopaedics and Persistent Pain. Matt has extensive experience working in the NHS and working with the Burnley Football Club youth academies. In the UK, he worked alongside leading surgeons in a Specialist Orthopaedic Centre. Matt moved to New Zealand in 2019 and plans to study a Master’s degree in the near future.

Maisie Kilner

Physiotherapist

Maisie graduated from Leeds Beckett University in 2017. She worked overseas in the largest NHS trust in Europe for 3 years gaining experience in a number of clinical areas including trauma and orthopaedics and MSK outpatients. Since moving to New Zealand she has pursued her interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy working in private clinics. She enjoys working with athletes and getting them back doing what they love. She has experience working with a number of athletes both professional and amateur including the English first division of Rugby League. Outside of work Maisie is a keen runner and has completed multiple marathons, and has currently set her visions on training for Ironman and Ultra running events. She is passionate about helping other runners manage their running related injuries.

Ollie Milton

MSc. Physiotherapy / BSc. (Hons) Athletic Therapy + Training

Ollie graduated from Dublin City University in 2016 and has been working in private practice and sport since then. He has gained great experience working with elite athletes while completing an Internship at Stanford University in the US, working with the Football Ferns Development Program here in New Zealand and various Gaelic football teams at home in Ireland. Ollie leans on his strength and conditioning and pilates qualifications to help rehab those in pain back to doing what they love. Outside of work you’ll find Ollie on the football pitch or out for a run or mountain bike on the trail.

Britt graduated from Auckland University of Technology in 2020 and has been working in private practice since then. Britt is currently on her own rehabilitation journey, following an ACL reconstruction, so knows the importance of setting goals and completing rehabilitation exercises. She is also a qualified Pinc & Steel Cancer Rehab physiotherapist. Britt has a passion for helping rehabilitate a diverse range of injuries and continuing to expand her knowledgebase. She is currently based at our Saint Kentigern’s College satellite clinic.

Thomas Hatherly

Thomas graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2021. Thomas has spent plenty of time at physio clinics over his years of playing high level hockey, which led him to pursue a career as a physiotherapist. Thomas has enjoyed working within high performance environments and is currently working with the Warrior’s Futures program. He has also gained valuable experience with a range of different sporting teams including the NRL referees, Manurewa First XIII league, St Peter’s First XI football, Auckland U18 Rugby, NZ Barbarians 7s, and NZ Men’s U23 Netball team.
