If your injury is not accident related (ACC) then it will be classed as a "private booking" of which the charges are below (please note that to see a Sports Physician as a private booking you still need a referral).

Registrar:
A Registrar at UniSports Sports Medicine is a qualified and registered doctor who is doing his/her two year Diploma in Sports Medicine. They will generally do one year here and then one year overseas, but sometimes they can also complete their whole two years here with us. Their fees are levelled differently and because they are not yet classed a Specialist in their field you can book in to see them with or without a referral and or an ACC number. Generally they will also be available to see you quicker.
