Welcome to UniSports Sports Medicine

Welcome to UniSports Sports Medicine, the first dedicated Sports Medicine clinic to be established in Auckland, New Zealand.

UniSports Sports Medicine is a multi-disciplinary medical treatment and research facility specialising in sports injuries and rehabilitation. Since opening in 1994, the clinic has rapidly expanded to suit the growing demands of amateur and professional sport, and now accommodates over 20 sports health professionals working collaboratively for the benefit of our athletic population. These professionals include Sports Physicians, Sports Orthopaedic Surgeons, Sports Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, Massage Therapists, and a Sports Nutritionist.

While we look after professional, Olympic and New Zealand Academy of Sport athletes, our aim is to offer the same standard of care to all people who are involved in recreational exercise, dance or sport.

This team approach means you have easy access to the appropriate professional and that all aspects of your injury may be treated, from diagnosis through to full rehabilitation.

In addition, UniSports Sports Medicine is associated with the UniSports Centre for Sports Performance - a division of the University of Auckland, which provides an extensive range of athletic training facilities. With both the Sports Medicine and Sports Performance centres located on the same site, the team at UniSports Sports Medicine can work closely with you throughout your rehabilitation to help you achieve your sporting goals.

At all times, your Sports Medicine concerns are our concerns. Please contact us if you feel we can help you.

On January 2008, UniSports was recognised by FIFA as a Medical Centre of Excellence.
