Welcome to adidas Sports Medicine, the first dedicated sports medicine clinic to be established in Auckland, New Zealand.

adidas Sports Medicine is a multi-disciplinary medical treatment and research facility specialising in athletic injuries and rehabilitation. Commencing in 1994, the clinic - formerly known as UniSportsMed Centre for Sports Medicine - has rapidly expanded to suit the growing demands of amateur and professional sport.

Here at adidas Sports Medicine we are proud of our comprehensive range of medical and health-related services. The clinic is well recognised for its highly qualified professional team of leading medical specialists covering the following disciplines:

  • Sports Medicine
  • Physiotherapy
  • Orthopaedics
  • Podiatry
  • Nutrition
  • Massage Therapy

This team approach means you have easy access to the appropriate professional and that all aspects of your injury may be treated, from diagnosis through to full rehabilitation.

In addition, adidas Sports Medicine is associated with the UniSports Centre for Sports Performance - a division of the University of Auckland, which provides an extensive range of athletic training facilities. With both the Sports Medicine and Sports Performance centres located on the same site, the team at adidas Sports Medicine can work closely with you throughout your rehabilitation to help you achieve your sporting goals.

At all times, your sports medicine concerns are our concerns. Please contact us if you feel we can help you.

On January 2008, the adidas Sports Medicine centre was recognised by FIFA as a Medical Centre of Excellence. To read more about this see the following article:

  • As an ACC Endorsed Provider, the physiotherapy department offers patients free services for injuries covered by ACC. The patient will however be expected to pay for the following:

  • treatment occuring outside normal working hours.
  • materials used in treatment e.g. strapping or orthoses.
  • travel to the clinic, where payment for that travel is not covered by ACC.
  • a “no-show” fee, if cancellation of the appointment occurs without the approriate notification.
